Spider-Man Pose
TODO — placeholder text. Replace with Arosh’s own description of the piece.
A crouch, weight on one hand, the other arm cocked back — the pose Spider-Man lands in. Drawn from below, so the near knee comes towards the viewer and gets much larger than it has any right to be.
Foreshortening is the whole exercise. The forearm nearest the front is barely longer than the hand attached to it, which looks wrong until you measure it, and then looks wrong if you fix it. Getting the mask right was easier: it is one curved surface, so the webbing lines just follow the form.
Graphite underneath for the construction, ink over the top for the lines that survived.
